The Denver Integrative Massage School, Inc offers a unique 600-hour Certified Massage Therapy program (Six Months) that includes the best in Thai Yoga Massage techniques fused with the best in Western Massage and Bodywork techniques. The 600-hour Massage Program includes 350 hours of hands-on, in-class massage training and 250 hours of e-Learning. The e-Learning module includes five different lessons on anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathology, and business/ethics. This program is appropriate for a student who wishes to attain a CMT (Certified Massage Therapist) and be an LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) in the State of Colorado and possibly transferable to other state programs. This 600-hour Massage Program is also unique because it’s one of the few massage programs that offers over 100 hours of in-class application of Thai Yoga Massage.
Our 600-hour Massage Program includes 3 main components: 1) e-Learning Anatomy, 2) Massage Application & Assessment (Western & Thai), and 3) Practicum/Clinic. Our program is flexible so the student can start with either the e-Learning Anatomy module or the Hands-on Massage Application classes. We have hands-on massage modules starting every quarter, and the e-Learning module can start at anytime.
Our Thai Yoga Massage Module is part of the 600-hour Massage Program but can also be taken separately, as Continuing Education hours by licensed massage therapists. This module consists of three courses all focused on Traditional Thai Yoga Massage. Each of these courses: Level 1 (50 Hrs), Level 2 (50 Hrs), and Level 3 (60 Hrs) will give the student a wonderful foundation for practicing Thai Yoga Massage. This module is approved for CE credits by NCBTMB.
In addition to these amazing programs and ala carte courses, our School provides flexibility and affordability–we offer many schedule options for the diverse healing arts community in Colorado and we offer affordable programs at very competitive tuition prices. We have monthly, payment option plans to allow for even more financial flexibility.
In addition to our Thai Yoga Massage module, we have a Thai for the Table class that is 16 hours and approved for CE credits by NCBTMB. This course is an amazing introduction and a clever modification of the Traditional Thai Massage style. Thai for the Table was created to be more accessible for current massage therapists and bodyworkers who would like to incorporate different techniques and different layers of awareness into their current practices on the massage table. We also have other CE classes coming this Fall: The Art of Compressing (Thai & Colorado Garden Compresses!) and Plant Brushings & Prayers.
The Denver Integrative Massage School, Inc is staffed with qualified, approved instructors that are highly educated in their fields, as well as enthusiastic about going above and beyond to help each student succeed. We have a physical therapist and yoga therapy instructor on staff, in addition we have our Licensed Massage Therapy Instructors who have years of therapeutic massage and Thai yoga massage experience. We truly have a beautiful combination of modalities and backgrounds, multicultural and multidimensional.
