03 Jun Denver Massage School Summer Semester Begins
Denver Integrative Massage School puts a unique twist on a Massage Therapy program! Our massage school blends the Eastern Healing Arts (Thai Yoga Massage & Asian Energy work) with the Western Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, & Kinesiology). Because our courses are influenced by the experience of our teachers who have backgrounds from Acupuncture to Physical Therapy, students leave with a unique and balanced education.
Some of our courses include:
– Kinesiology & Pathology
– Asian Energy Bodywork
– Aromatherapy & Analgesics
– Asian Energy Theory & Techniques
With this we have a Flexible Schedule! This means there are open course modules and students can take as little as 50 hours up to 600 hours.
Occupational Objective for our Students: The graduate will have enough knowledge and experience to take and potentially pass the NCBTMB or MBLEx exams in order to then apply for a State Massage Therapy Registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). After taking and passing either the NCBTMB or MBLEx exam and receiving State Registration with Colorado, the graduate should be able to attain an entry-level position as a massage therapist at a spa, wellness center, medical clinic, chiropractic office, or a physical therapy clinic, as well as have the skill-set to become self-employed in a private practice, beginning to bill medical insurance for sessions.
Tuition: $5,800. $250 deposit required, which is applied towards the tuition price.
Courses: Our 600-Hour CMT program is comprised of 12 courses that are described on our website. Our approach to teaching and learning is based around Constructivism-Problem-Based Learning modules, whereby the student has specific and applicable case studies from which to work and learn.
Our next semester begins July 16th! For more info see Denver Integrative Massage School or email Hillary@dimassageschool.com
