Before training as a massage therapist, Becky was a middle school science teacher for many years. She also has a strong background in practicing and teaching yoga. So the art and science of building experience and knowledge, of personal growth and the development of skills, of clear outcomes with sometimes unexpected paths, of building on the foundations laid down by the people who have come before us, and of emerging as the inheritors of wisdom with the responsibility of carrying that learning forward — this is where Becky stands as a teacher. A grateful look to the past for all of the teachers who have brought us to this moment, a loving look to the present for the people who are teaching and learning with us today, and a hopeful look to the future for the students who will be the next wave of practitioners and teachers themselves.

Becky is also a mad passionate mom of three, and is filling her rapidly emptying nest with a ragtag pack of dogs she loves beyond all reason. She is in her 26th year of trying to garden above 8,000 feet and humbly surrenders to the experience of of the process over the product. She can turn just about anything into a science experiment. And she often laughs way too loud.
