Testimonials
Thank you soooo much!! I can’t even express how excited I am, and how grateful I am for my time spent at DIMS. This year has been so absolutely wild for all of us, but I must say that I have been thoroughly impressed with the staff, and all of the protocols that have taken place in order to keep everyone safe, while still gaining momentum on hours needed to graduate. I feel blessed for having met all of the amazing teachers and staff, and I truly will use what I’ve learned here at this school for the rest of my life. Thank you again for allowing me to pursue this opportunity at DIMS. This has been life-changing for me and my family, and I will be recommending this school for anyone who will listen.

“The teachers at DIMS are passionate about massage and provide a fun, learning environment. They have studied with the best teachers in their fields, and they infuse their teaching with intelligence, compassion, and patience. All of the teachers are open and aware of Western and Eastern massage styles, and they combine the best of both worlds into every course. The students learn much of what is taught in Thailand and other Asian cultures, but with more of what a Western student is looking for — the “How?” and “Why?” — more emphasis on specific body mechanics and anatomy. Yet, they still leave room for, and encourage, students to feel into the energetic situation of each client, maintaining connection to a holistic intention and approach towards massage.”
“I am one of DIMS’s students. I took one of their ala carte Thai Massage courses almost 3 years ago. This was the best decision I could have made for my practice and myself. I own my own massage practice, am a CMT, and have been doing massage for close to 6 years now. I would say that Thai massage is now almost 50% of my clientele. Having already been a massage therapist, Thai massage has elevated my ability to treat clients on a whole, different level. Thai massage has also been friendlier to my body–not having to use my hands as much, knowing how to properly position my body on a Thai mat for maximum pressure, and knowing how to use my knees and feet correctly. I primarily work with athletes, and I feel that Thai massage is one of the best modalities. The DIMS instructors are amazing! T hey truly capture the Thai culture and spirit in their trainings, and on top of that they are always there to support you even after you graduate. I still check in with them on a frequent basis.”
“First of all, DIMS’s training courses are outstanding. They are skilled teachers with so much enthusiasm and knowledge. And, they make learning fun and easy. I’ve talked to people who studied elsewhere, and I am glad I earned my CMT with DIMS. Their training is comprehensive and immediately practical. They cover Eastern and Western anatomy as well as Thai and Chinese philosophy. They model the work really well while answering all kinds of questions eloquently. They have assistants to give hands-on help when students are practicing in trainings. And, they keep the student body small in each training, which allows for much more intensive learning. DIMS is also committed to creating a local community of massage and Thai massage practitioners in order to create a large and accessible support network. It’s well worth any student’s time and money.”
“The DIMS teachers are fantastic and very supportive. They teach a very rhythmic, ocean-like flow to the way you give a massage . . . it is all about the ebb and flow of the session . . . waves if you will . . . rather then just techniques . . . they teach you how to progress through the session . . . even though Thai massage and certain Western massage modalities can be very, deep work, there is a soft way to approach your clients and the style. I also like that they teach you how to use herbal compresses from the very beginning–it’s all about the heat and the smell and how that comforts your clients and yourself as the therapist.”
“For the past 3 years, we have brought the DIMS instructors to our university to teach their 320-Hour Western Therapeutics program, as well as their ala carte Thai Massage courses to our integrative health students because they are intelligent and compassionate teachers. They are enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable about bodywork and energywork. They demonstrate all of the positions and moves, then partner the students so they practice that same sequence on each other, all the while continuing to demonstrate and verbally explain the correct ergonomics for the therapist and the correct pressure and technique for the receiver. Our students always rave about their training because it’s fun–the DIMS instructors have such positive and encouraging personalities and spirits–and because our students come away with SO much knowledge and practical experience that they feel confident to start practicing and working with others.”
“We hired DIMS to train our Denver spa staff because they are bright, intelligent, witty, knowledgeable, well-versed, and very skilled at teaching Western massage & Thai massage. We had many requests from our clients for Thai massage and none of our massage therapists knew Thai massage, so our therapists went to DIMS to take the Level 1 and 2 Thai massage training. We also had a few therapists that earned their 600-Hour CMT program at DIMS-and they have been very successful therapists because they have the combination of Western massage and Thai Massage. Thai Massage is now the most popular modality at our spa. We are so grateful to DIMS for bringing this beautiful and healing modality to our therapists and our spa. They are amazing instructors and humans.”
“I have a background in Chinese Medicine and Massage Therapy. I received a Thai Massage from Hillary and knew I had to learn this modality–so that I could integrate it into my current practice. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I was first drawn to her style of Thai massage–which is more rhythmic than other Thai massages I’ve received–I felt so supported and nurtured throughout her session, that I had to know these techniques so that I could give this style to others. Hillary’s style of Thai massage and her way of teaching and being in the world are SO special. More people need to learn this style and need to learn from Hillary.”
