Denver Integrative Massage School offers Thai Yoga Massage courses for those wishing to explore this modality and those wishing to delve deeper into this ancient healing art. Each course offered can either be taken as a stand alone class with credit towards continuing education hours or they can be taken as part of the school’s 600 hour CMT program.
Thai Massage for the Table provides instruction on modifications of the traditional style for current therapists and bodyworkers who want to offer different techniques to their clients.
Thai Yoga Massage Levels 1-3 is a more in-depth study of this system of healing. Each of these courses can be taken separately as a stand alone class. Levels 1 and 2 provide 36 hours of in-class training along with 14 hours of clinic/practicum. Level 3 provides 80 hours of instruction, 24 in class, 34 correspondence hours and 22 practicum hours. Level 1 is meant to enhance a student’s current massage, yoga, acupuncture, or energy work practice. Level 2 begins the process of discussing in more detail the Sen Sib lines and students will be able to give therapeutic Thai massage focusing on a client’s specific needs. Finally, Level 3 is for the student who would like to transition to the professional level and build on previous knowledge to create a strong foundation of practice. Upon completion of this training, students will be able to confidently work with clients who have many different conditions or injuries.
