This video demonstrates a deep, grounding compression for the pectoral muscles and the shoulders. The giver uses the heal of her hand and places it on the top of the pecs and then moves into the familiar Yoga pose Downward Facing Dog. This creates traction with the compression moving towards the receiver’s belly. The client uses the breath to press into the therapist’s hands and they begin to attune to each others movements. Both the giver and receiver benefit from this massage! The video ends with therapist using gentle compressions on the shoulders and upper arms.
